| Commies Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Aberdeen | It was a fun time at Castro Field, where the Aberdeen Phesants and Caribbean Commies tangled.
Commies designated hitter Jared Prior put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Aberdeen Phesants. Prior went 2 for 3 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs for Caribbean in the contest. Caribbean reliever Jonathan Gomez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Alex Herreva shouldered the loss.
Angel Vigil, who is tied for 4th in the RR in doubles with 17, aided the Caribbean cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Vigil. "I just want to win ballgames."
The Commies bumped their record to 36-30 with this latest triumph.
