| Diamonds Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The Diamonds had to overcome a fine performance from Santa Barbara pitcher Steve Harvey to grab a 5-1 win at Dream Park. Harvey allowed 1 earned run over 8.2 innings. Even with the win, the Diamonds have a dismal 21-41 record.
Cale Lane's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a cutter from Eric Moretti for a grand slam home run. It put Tunica in front, 5-1.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Lane said.
