| Cyclones Lose, 5-0, at Pittodrie Stadium | The Aberdeen Phesants topped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 5-0, in RCLR action at Pittodrie Stadium. The player of the game was Aberdeen pitcher and Matagalpa, Nicaragua native Alejandro Hernandez. The Phesants, at 27-35, sit in 5th place in the RCLR John Mayberry Division.
The Phesants got a big at-bat from third baseman Justyn Bieber. For the game, Bieber went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 16th double of the season gave Aberdeen a 2-0 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hernandez told the Aberdeen Times.
