| Scorpions Prevail, 3-1, Over El Paso | The Scottsdale Scorpions got a magnificent performance from pitcher Brendan Jackson, who stifled the El Paso offense en route to a 3-1 Scorpions win at Scottsdale Stadium. Jackson, now 3-3, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run.
