| Scorpions Win Thriller, 4-1 | Scottsdale Scorpions starter Stewart Lewis was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Santa Barbara Suenos, 4-1. Scottsdale reliever Jesse Weller picked up the win to move to 2-5. Eric Moretti suffered the loss. Scottsdale, at 23-38, occupies 4th place in the RCLR Tony Fernandez Division.
Juan Gonzales was the walk-off hero for Scottsdale. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Scorpions pinch hitter hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"Put a star next to this win," Lewis said.
