| Revenge Turn Back Tunica, 2-1 | The Revenge grabbed a win, 2-1, at The Drunken Wench Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Tunica pitcher Jorge Talavera. Talavera went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Carlos Flores converted his 23rd save in 23 tries. The Revenge bumped their record to 43-14 with this latest triumph.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Joe Donn was at the plate when Barbados scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Revenge to go in front, 2-1.
Donn said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
