| Marauders Get Past Cabo San Lucas for 5-4 Win | Cabo San Lucas second baseman Junzo Takenaka had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Takenaka went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Maple beat the Toreros, 5-4. Takenaka was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Marauders bumped their record to 46-46 with this latest triumph.
The Marauders got a big at-bat from first baseman Shunso Fukuda. For the game, Fukuda went 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. In the top of the ninth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 26th home run of the season gave Maple a 5-4 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Fukuda.
