| Commies Win at Tunica, 4-3 | Both teams had their chances, but the Caribbean Commies eventually prevailed at Clam Jammer Dome.
The Tunica Diamonds got a sterling performance from pitcher Ricardo Cardoso, but the Commies still prevailed, 4-3. Cardoso was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. The Commies bumped their record to 29-26 with this latest triumph.
The Commies got a big at-bat from second baseman Edward Gray. For the game, Gray went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Caribbean a 4-3 lead.
Gray called the win "a collective effort."
