Revenge Come Back Late to Clip Scorpions

Barbados and Scottsdale took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Barbados Revenge faced a tough opponent in Scottsdale pitcher Roberto Peregrino, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Scottsdale Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Peregrino went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Carlos Flores, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 22nd save.

Nelson Lerma, who is tied for 5th in the RR in RBI with 32, chipped in for Barbados with a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
