| Rangers Win Again, Extend Streak to 8 | The Rockville Rangers picked up a win at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Aberdeen Phesants, 3-1. On the mound for Rockville was right-hander Ernesto Mendez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Mendez, the winner, moves to 6-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 2 walks. Alex Arenas was credited with the save for Rockville, his 5th of the season.
Al Bracero aided the Rockville cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.
