| Bomberos Score Late, Stun Strong Style, 6-4 | The Kyoto Strong Style got a superb performance from pitcher Rich Reimer, but the El Paso Bomberos still won the game, 6-4. Reimer was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings allowing 5 runs. Oscar Nunez picked up the save, his 7th. The Bomberos, at 20-32, sit in 4th place in the RCLR Tony Fernandez Division.
The Bomberos got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jose Caballero. For the game, Caballero went 1-4. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 19th hit of the season gave El Paso a 5-4 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Caballero said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
