The Kyoto Strong Style beat the El Paso Bomberos, 6-2, at Sacred Kinkaku-ji Grounds. Kyoto third baseman Gabriel Vega earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The third-place Strong Style improved to 29-22.

The Strong Style got a big at-bat from second baseman Joe Koehn. For the game, Koehn went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 47th hit of the season gave Kyoto a 4-2 lead.
