| Sirico Dazzles in El Paso Win | El Paso and Kyoto duked it out at Sacred Kinkaku-ji Grounds and the Bomberos came out victorious.
El Paso Bomberos starter James Sirico pitched a strong game against the Kyoto Strong Style at Sacred Kinkaku-ji Grounds, leading the Bomberos to a 3-0 win. Oscar Nunez sewed up the save, his 6th.
Sirico was in the zone all game. He frustrated Kyoto hitters while giving the Bomberos 6 innings of quality work. Sirico threw 80 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 5 punchouts.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Sirico said.
The Bomberos, at 19-31, sit in 4th place in the RCLR Tony Fernandez Division.
