| Revenge Win at Kyoto, 6-1 | Barbados pitcher Israel Diaz did his part in helping his team beat the Kyoto Strong Style, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Barbados reliever Jeremy Bumann picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Manny Galan took the loss. The Revenge improved to a lofty 36-12.
It could have been a different outcome for Barbados, had it not been for Mike Scoggins, the 22-year old shortstop . Scoggins contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Barbados up, 3-1.
"This was a good win for us," said Diaz. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
