The Santa Barbara Suenos topped the Caribbean Commies, 4-1, in RCLR action at Dream Park. The player of the game was Santa Barbara pitcher Lobo Calvillo. Even with the win, the Suenos have a dismal 16-33 record.

In the top of the eighth, Ivan Velazquez stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Commies were trailing 4-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Eric Moretti made a terrific pitch and Velazquez flied out. Gone was the dream of a Caribbean comeback.
