Texans Walk Off with 6-5 Win

Dallas center fielder Pablo Moreno was instrumental in his team's 6-5 win over the Portland Beavers. Moreno went 3-4 with 4 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Texans. The win was credited to Héctor Zúñiga in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Chris Ackley took the loss. Dallas is in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division with a record of 37-57.

Manuel Ríos was the walk-off hero for Dallas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Texans pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Ríos said.
