| Phesants Lose, 4-1, at Dream Park | Santa Barbara Suenos starter J.D. Cimino was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Aberdeen Phesants, 4-1. Even with the win, the Suenos have a dismal 14-29 record.
The Suenos got a big at-bat from shortstop Jesse Myers. For the game, Myers went 2-4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Santa Barbara a 2-0 lead.
"J.D. is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Santa Barbara manager Robby Tate.
