| Revenge Win at Brooklyn, 7-3 | Barbados Revenge starter Arturo Tejeda was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Brooklyn Cyclones, 7-3. The Revenge bumped their record to 30-10 with this latest triumph.
The Revenge got a big at-bat from shortstop Carlos Mata. For the game, Mata was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Barbados a 3-1 lead.
In comments to the Barbados Times, Mata admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
