The 2038 season is getting ugly for Aberdeen.

The Kyoto Strong Style downed the Aberdeen Phesants, 9-6, at Pittodrie Stadium. Gabriel Vega led the way, going 3-for-5 for Kyoto. Devin Johnson was the winner. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 10 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts. Robby Pacheco closed the game out for Kyoto, earning his 1st save.

Danny Rentezia aided the Kyoto cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Strong Style manager Jorge Mora. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The Strong Style bumped their record to 21-18 with this latest triumph.
