| Erdahl Goes 5-for-7 Against Rockville | It seemed that Scottsdale right fielder Tristan Erdahl could do no wrong as the Scorpions KO'd the Rangers, 9-7 today. Erdahl rapped out 5 hits in 7 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Rangers hurlers were throwing.
"I think the Scorpions were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Rockville fan after the game.
"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Erdahl in the postgame press interview.
Tristan Erdahl singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 11th, walked in the 13th and hit an RBI single in the 14th.
This year Erdahl is hitting .298 with 4 home runs. |
