The Scottsdale Scorpions grabbed a 9-4 win over the Rockville Rangers at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. Scottsdale left fielder Billy Goode went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Scottsdale is now 14-21.

Goode put Scottsdale up, 9-1, when he hit a 3-run home run off Jose Bastida in the top of the third. His 3rd home run of the season helped the Scorpions capture the win.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Goode. "And not try to do too much."
