The Aberdeen Phesants got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alejandro Hernandez, who muffled the Barbados offense en route to a tight 2-0 Phesants win at The Drunken Wench Stadium. Aberdeen is 13-24 and Barbados, with the loss, 28-9.

Justyn Bieber, who is tied for 9th in the RR in doubles with 8, aided the Aberdeen cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4 with a triple.

"The old adage is true," said Bieber. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
