| Marcano Sensational for KO | Long Beach pitcher Ricky Marcano did his part in helping his team beat the Kyoto Strong Style, 3-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. At 14-21, the KO are currently third in the RCLR Tony Fernandez Division.
Marcano, who dominated for Long Beach, earned the victory to move to 1-7. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 7. Kyoto batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Marcano said.
