| Phesants Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus Caribbean | The Aberdeen Phesants beat the Caribbean Commies, 8-4, at Pittodrie Stadium. The Phesants got a fine performance from center fielder Sean Smith, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Aberdeen goes to 12-22, Caribbean to 20-14.
Sergio Carbajal, who is tied for 6th in the RR in triples with 2, aided the Aberdeen cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Carbajal said.
