| Commies Prove Rude Guests, Win 2-1 at Aberdeen | The Caribbean Commies faced a tough opponent in Aberdeen pitcher Ramon Santiago, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Pittodrie Stadium by a final score of 2-1. Santiago went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Commies.
The Commies got a big at-bat from third baseman Alex Graves. For the game, Graves went 1 for 4. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 26th hit of the season gave Caribbean a 2-1 lead.
"We were in it," said Aberdeen manager Bhim Varuni. "We just didn't score enough runs."
