| Dominant Performance by Carmona in Caribbean Win | Alfredo Carmona pitched a gem to lead Caribbean to a 3-0 victory over the Long Beach KO. Johan Leedham recorded his 1st save for Caribbean. The Commies bumped their record to 18-13 with this latest triumph.
Carmona gave Caribbean a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings.
Carmona said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
