| Bomberos Win at Aberdeen, 8-7 | The El Paso Bomberos topped the Aberdeen Phesants, 8-7, with youngster Jefferson Davis Hogg playing a key role. Hogg went 1 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Bomberos in the win. El Paso reliever Tristan Townsend picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ramon Santiago took the loss. Earning his 2nd save for El Paso was Jose Caballero.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and one out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when first baseman Jordan Amaya, who is tied for 8th in the RR with a .349 batting average, drew a walk. The Bomberos went on to win.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Aberdeen manager Bhim Varuni. "The effort was great."
