| Blazers LF Murphy goes 3-for-4 in Win | Bloomington center fielder Lloyd Murphy had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the South Carolina Bombers, 7-3. The Blazers bumped their record to 47-43 with this latest triumph.
Murphy contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing triple, for Bloomington in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Murphy took a fastball from Ange Schmit and stroked the triple to left-center. His 2nd triple of the season allowed the Blazers to leap in front, 3-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Murphy.
