| Loss to Bomberos Extends Kyoto Losing Streak | The El Paso Bomberos beat the Kyoto Strong Style, 2-1, at The Back Draft. The win was largely due to the efforts of shortstop Jorge Hernandez, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Kyoto's current losing streak is now 7 games.
Hernandez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count fastball from Devin Johnson, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Bomberos a 2-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Hernandez.
"Feels good to get the job done," Hernandez said after the game.
