Late Rally by Hornets Secures Win
Hornets second baseman Brian Delmont put his stamp on his team's 6-5 win over the Mile High Mustangs. Delmont was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Eureka in the contest. Reliever Roger Rogers picked up the win. His record improves to 5-2. Ferdinand Bevan took the loss. The Hornets bumped their record to 47-42 with this latest triumph.

Delmont had a game-changing single in the top of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Gabe Inoa, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Hornets a 6-5 lead. It was the 79th hit of the year for Delmont.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Mile High manager Kinnojo Shirai. "The effort was great."
