| Diamonds Edge Phesants, 3-2 | The Tunica Diamonds picked up a win at Clam Jammer Dome, knocking off the Aberdeen Phesants, 3-2. Starting pitcher Adam Voytilla was an essential part of his team's success. The Phesants, now 5-9, continue their sluggish start.
Victor Mercado drew 1 walk for Tunica. The 19-year old left-handed pitcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Josh Kennedy. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Mercado.
