| Black Knights Trip Stogies in Extras | Brooklyn Black Knights starter Elijah Green was in fine form against the Havana Stogies at Blue Ivy Stadium, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Reliever Angelo Cobian picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Danny Posada took the loss. Brooklyn goes to 46-47, Havana to 60-29.
The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Nobuharu Morita came to bat in the bottom of the 13th. Facing Havana pitcher Danny Posada, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting Brooklyn on top, 4-3.
"There's no quit in this team," said Black Knights manager Tim Duncan.
