| Fighting Iguanas Continue Hot Start to Season With Win | Angel Leiva had a 3-RBI game, during Boca Raton's 6-3 triumph over the Rockville. Leiva contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. John Koenig picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Sergio Pichardo was tagged with the loss. Jeff Hymel picked up the save for Boca Raton, his 7th of the year.
Leiva had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Willie Marmolejo, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Fighting Iguanas a 5-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Leiva.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Boca Raton manager Wing-chiu Zhou.
The Fighting Iguanas, now 9-3, have been playing some good baseball.
