| Tight Tilt Goes to Diamonds, 1-0 | Tunica overcame a superlative game from Ricky Marcano to beat Long Beach, 1-0. The Long Beach pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Tunica is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 3rd in 11 games.
The Diamonds got a big at-bat from first baseman Jeremy Dillard. For the game, Dillard went 1 for 4. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Tunica a 1-0 lead.
