| Multi-HR Game for Ogura in 8-3 Win | The San Francisco Earthquakes topped the Bloomington Blazers by the score of 8-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Jun Ogura. Ogura slugged 2 home runs for the Earthquakes on the day. Donald Barron got the save, his 3rd in 4 chances. The Earthquakes bumped their record to 45-44 with this latest triumph.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Tatsuhito Suzuki. For the game, Suzuki was 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 4-1 lead.
