| Scorpions Come Back Late to Top Phesants | Scorpions designated hitter Tristan Erdahl put his stamp on his team's 4-2 win over the Aberdeen Phesants. Erdahl went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk for Scottsdale in the contest. Scottsdale reliever Angelo Lastra was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Salvador Rosa took the loss. The Scorpions, with only their 1st win in 12 games, have not had much to write home about in 2038.
Scottsdale used the timely hitting of Tony Jaramillo to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Erdahl said after the game.
