| Revenge Edge Commies, 3-2 | The Barbados Revenge scored a 3-2 win versus the Caribbean Commies at Castro Field. Barbados pitcher Tom LeGrand nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Barbados reliever Carlos Flores picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Edwin Lopez absorbed the loss. The Revenge keep rolling, raising their record to 5-3.
The Revenge got a big at-bat from designated hitter Salvatore del Villar. For the game, del Villar went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the 12th, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Barbados a 3-2 lead.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Barbados skipper Javier Cox.
