| Rangers Come Back Late, Nip Bomberos | The Rockville Rangers topped the El Paso Bomberos, 5-4, in Prince Fielder League action at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. The player of the game was Rockville pitcher and Batabanó, Cuba native Alex Arenas. In 9 innings, Arenas surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1. He allowed 4 runs. Rockville, now 9-0, is setting the league on fire so far.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Rockville trailing 4-3, Russ Pokorny hit a fastball from Oscar Nunez to right for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Rangers had a walk-off win.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Arenas told the Rockville Daily News.
