| Suenos Win at Aberdeen, 8-3 | Fans at Pittodrie Stadium were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Aberdeen Phesants take on the Santa Barbara Suenos.
The Santa Barbara Suenos topped the Aberdeen Phesants by the score of 8-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Hack Wilson. Wilson went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Suenos on the day. Jose Bribiesca was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Jerry Guzman was credited with the save for Santa Barbara, his 1st of the season.
Had Victor Ruiz not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ruiz hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Suenos.
