Losing Streak Continues for Scorpions with 7-2 Loss to KO

Long Beach right-hander Takeya Endo made an effective start against the Scottsdale Scorpions at Scottsdale Stadium, leading his team to a 7-2 win. With their winning streak at 4, the KO have raced to a strong start this season.

Cody Wallace aided the Long Beach cause with a 2-run double in the top of the third. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Scottsdale manager Alfonso Galindo.
