Pivotal Game 5 Goes to Host Knights, 3-2
The Kingwood Knights moved to within one game of the Single A World Series today, downing the visiting Victoria Vikings at Stable Park by a score of 3-2. Knights left-hander Tsutomu Mori was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Knights a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Single A League Championship.

Akira Kaneko helped out the Kingwood cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 1-3 with a walk.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mori told the Kingwood Bulletin.

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday, October 22nd, 2038 at The drakkar. The scheduled starters for the game are Scott Schaefers for Kingwood and Timmo van Bladel for Victoria.
