| Princes Win, Move to Within 1 Game of Round 3 | Riding the 3-hit performance of first baseman Mark Cummings, the Bel Air Princes got a road win against the Kingwood Knights, 9-4, in Game 3 of the Single A World Series today. Cummings was 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Princes, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.
Javy Perez aided the Bel Air cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times.
"We'll savor this win," Cummings told the Bel Air Gazette, "then get ready for the next game."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Stable Park in Houston. Slated to start are Wyatt Pinnell for the Bel Air Princes and Tsutomu Mori for the the Kingwood Knights.
