| Princes Win, Move to Within 1 Game of Single A World Series | Riding the 4-hit performance of catcher Jonathan Grindstaff, the Bel Air Princes got a road win against the Atlantic City Kings, 8-3, in Game 3 of the Single A League Championship today. Grindstaff was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles for the Princes, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.
Bel Air used the timely hitting of Kenny Disbennett to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Princes on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Disbennett said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow. Slated to start are Max Hageman for Bel Air and Juan Adorno for Atlantic City.
