| Rudge Handcuffs Fighting Iguanas, Rangers Seize 4-3 Advantage in R1 | The Rockville Rangers moved to within one game of the Winter League Championship today, downing the visiting Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium by a score of 5-2. Rangers left-hander John Rudge was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Rangers a 4-3 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.
