| Rangers Hammered by Moschetta, Drop Game 6 to Fighting Iguanas | The Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas and the Rockville Rangers will take the League Championship Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Fighting Iguanas beat the Rangers 5-4 at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Boca Raton left fielder Eric Moschetta was named player of the game in the win after he was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
Moschetta had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Fighting Iguanas went on to win.
"The competition leap this year was tough to adjust to and I feel like there has been another jump in the playoffs," said Moschetta, a rookie this season. "You're only playing the best now and everyone has time to rest and prepare for you."
The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Brewbaker Memorial Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Leo Galaviz for Boca Raton and John Rudge for Rockville.
