Golden Bears Hammered by Escoto, Drop Game 3 to Patriots
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Rafael Escoto, the George Washington Patriots got a road win against the Billings West Golden Bears, 13-6, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series today. Escoto hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Patriots, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Escoto had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Patriots went on to win.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Escoto.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Guadalajara HS Grounds. Slated to start are Tim Norman for the George Washington Patriots and Spencer Dann for the the Billings West Golden Bears.
