| Cowboys Even With Bulldogs After Extra-Innings Win | In a crucial game, the Oklahoma State Cowboys put on their best show, beating the Fresno State Bulldogs by a final score of 1-0 today. Mike Fouse earned player of the game honors, as he threw 6 innings of shutout ball. Oklahoma State and Fresno State are now tied at 1 wins apiece in the best-of-7 affair.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Oklahoma State second baseman T.J. Rom, facing Bob Eggenberger, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cowboys the 1-0 win.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Fouse said.
Game 3 is set to be played Monday at Brooks College Grounds. The scheduled starters for the game are Andy Crampton for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Jeff Logsdon for the the Fresno State Bulldogs.
