| G.o.D. Edge Past Black Knights, 4-3 | Dedicated fans at Isle of Destiny weathered the storm to watch their beloved G.o.D. beat the Black Knights.
The Tonga G.o.D. eked out a 4-3 win versus the Brooklyn Black Knights at Isle of Destiny. Nobody did more than pitcher Tu'utaki Eua, who captured player of the game honors. Reliever Robinson Merrado picked up the win. His record improves to 6-7. Ji-hwan Yea took the loss.
Chandler Lennie, who is on pace for 218 hits this season, chipped in for Tonga with a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.
"I like our resilience," said Eua.
The G.o.D. bumped their record to 46-46 with this latest triumph.
