Armada Continue Skid Thanks to Morales, Mustangs

The Mile High Mustangs topped the Quebec Armada, 5-1, in Thurman Munson League action at McNichols Stadium. The player of the game was Mile High right fielder David Morales. Scott Ray picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 6-8. Morales contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Mile High in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Morales took a fastball from Luis Mendez and stroked the home run to right. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Mustangs to leap in front, 4-1.
