| Toreros Beat Bombers in 10 | With catcher Dae-ki Yi leading the charge, the Cabo San Lucas Toreros defeated the South Carolina Bombers, 9-5, at Bomber Ballpark. Yi went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Mike Foust picked up the win. His record improves to 5-1. Bruce Berardi took the loss. Cabo San Lucas goes to 52-38. The win puts them 5½ games up in their division.
The Toreros got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Lee Brooks. For the game, Brooks went 1-1 with a triple. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 6-5 lead.
